Modelers Club visited Charlie LaPorte’s Lionel train layout
Members of the SCV Modelers Club visited Charlie LaPorte’s Lionel train layout along with his extensive display of related Lionel model locomotives and rolling stock. Much of the items displayed date back to the early years of Lionel and other model manufactures. Charlie has spent years in developing his collection. He has recently finished a three year project of building from stock brass a standard gauge live steam locomotive. This locomotive will operate on his to be built backyard track layout.
